Rec Takeover is our spring event for students held in April. Our department takes over the Recreation Center and surrounding spaces such parking lot, tennis courts, sidewalk to offer various events and activities for the students. Rec Takeover includes many different activities and games. Past years have included music, laser tag, crafts, raffles, video game truck, Kona ice, and food! Please keep checking back for the latest updates on this year’s event!

This year’s Rec TakeOver will include the following activities. Students must first check-in at the table located outside the entrance to :
Video Game Truck- Lot 12
Kona Ice Truck- Lot 12
- Students must first check-in at the table located outside the entrance to the rec center to receive a ticket to be used at the Kona Ice truck.
Cardio Sport Workout- Lot 12
Lawn Games- Lot 12
Escape Room- Rec Dance Studio
- Rec Takeover is HERE with an all new activity – an Escape Room! Join the event on the ATLETO app prior to Rec Takeover to obtain exclusive access to the google form sign-ups sheet. SPACE IS LIMITED. Come and play this game with at least one other person, for a total team of 2 – 5 players. Can you crack the code??
Blazin’ Jay’s Food- Rec Court 1
- Students must first check-in at the table located outside the entrance to the rec center to receive a ticket to be used for Blazin’ Jay’s.
Trivia- Rec Court 2
- Teams can register for trivia using this link.
- Games will be held at 8:15pm and 9:30pm.
- Five students max per team
- Members of the winning team will each be given a $20 Amazon e-gift card
